Legislation on wiretap on wires across country borders stopped
IDG today write that the negotiations between the Social Democrats and the government has derailed. This implies the new legislation that would make FRA able to wiretap wires that crosses the country boundary at least until 2009.
As I have written before here (March 12, 2007), I think the work that lead to the proposal is weak, and that by itself make many people question that law – without being against the ability to chase criminals.
