Delete Duplicates from MacOSX Calendar

Some people on a mailinglist for MacOSX asked about mechanisms for removing duplicates from the Calendar application in MacOSX. I have been using this AppleScript for a while, and it works for me. I have not written it from scratch myself, and unfortunately I do not remember where I found it the first time. My apologies for not referencing the original creator.

I sent this script to the mailing list, but some people say they where not able to receive it correctly. Because of this, here is a zipped version.
