Swedish embassy in Tokyo and Wikipedia

An article in Svenska Dagbladet say the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo in a PM about Manga copied text from Wikipedia without indicating the source. It is of course hard to know exactly where the data in many articles in Wikipedia is coming from as references sometimes is missing there. On the other hand, “just” saying it was from Wikipedia should be enough. If people do not agree with the information, one can change it.

This reminds me I suggest teachers that are nervous students copy too much information from Wikipedia when they write a thesis instead ask students to update and manage for a few weeks a Wikipedia article. Many people think it is interesting, but when selling the idea to their fellow teachers, they get a no. So far I have not heard this idea be implemented. Let me know if you find someone implementing it.
