Snooker World Championship
Friday, in the 20th frame of the semi final, Maguire made 11-9 over Higgins after an almost 1 hour long demonstration of defensive play that most certainly will go to history. Only in the middle of the frame, Higgins had some chance of winning, but switching from defensive to offensive play was too hard for him. Maguire in reality, I claim, had things under control all along. Most impressive was the last but one shot in the frame. He pot blue, had white do 2 walls, go over the table, passing black with less than 1/2 of an inch, and stopped perfectly for a safe shot on pink.
I think noone will be able to stop Maguire. 2PM today (CET) the game continues.
