Swedish Minister pushing same broken politics as previous government

The Swedish Minister of Justice Beatrice Ask is in an interview in Computer Sweden (Swedish only) saying ISPs are to be responsible for content on the Internet. This is exactly the same (bad) ideas as the minister of Justice of the previous government had. We have had an election, people voted on a different government, but we have the same broken ideas. Is this because the idea is cemented into the walls of the Ministry of Justice?

The policians must understand the different abstraction layers in the Internet Architecture. They are layered just like the road system (or any other analogy of your choice). Some companies manufacture cars, some organisation(s) are responsible for the roads. The police chase people speeding, and the court system take care of the result of the work of the police. It is that simple.

If now only the politicians do understand it as well…
