The radio link home is dead since a while back. The ISP I use say it is because of the military exercise down here in Skåne. Today (June 3) is the last day, so we can hope that the military people stop playing with their radio equipment today. Maybe it is time to install more redundant connections? Yes, the link is 802.11a, in the frequency band 5.47-5.725 GHz. In this band, the effect is not allowed to be more than 1W according to 5 § 18 in PTSFS 2005:8 (Föreskrifter om ändring i Post- och telestyrelsens föreskrifter (2004:8) om undantag från tillståndsplikten för vissa radiosändare), updated via PTSFS 2006:5 (Post- och telestyrelsens föreskrifter om ändring i föreskrifter (2004:8) om undantag från tillståndsplikten för vissa radiosändare).
It will be interesting to see whether the problems stop when the military exercise is over this afternoon.
