More weird broadband quotes

In an article today some broadband networks that collaborate say that one of the good things by interconnecting them is that the application providers that are present in one of them will be present in all of them. They claim in the article that the application providers because of this can reach 104 000 potential customers. If the application is available on the Internet, like any website, or any provider like Google and Skype, they have more than a billion potential customers.

This once again shows something really wrong in the discussion about broadband, that the application in some way is connected to the network. There are many good reasons for interconnecting the networks, but this is not one of them.
