Chateau Fonroque Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2001

Before having this wine, I tried to find information on when to drink it. Some guessing on Saint-Emilion 2001 together with some more data found on the net here and there I made the decision to have the wine and not store it any longer. That was a correct decision. What a wine. Absolutely excellent, and it was really on its peak now (2007). One more year would not have worked. Tannins gone, while some acids where still there. Maybe best wine this year so far.
