Problems at Arlanda Airport

Once again there is a problem with the radar at Arlanda. What confuses me is that SvD claims there where no problems for incoming flights. I know, I was at Malmö/Sturup (MMX) and wanted to be on the 7.35 flight to ARN. At 7.28 we where told (by The Voice From Above) that 10:10 was the earliest departure. What irritates me (and irritated others) was that there was no information on the monitors, and the SMS service SAS has had not given any information either.

As I was only to stay during the day, I left the airport, called the travel agency and cancelled the trip. When leaving the airport I saw that both the SAS and Malmö Aviation flights that where supposed to leave around 6.30 still where waiting at the end of the runway. At that time more than one hour on the ground. I could at least go home and try to have my meetings over the phone.

When driving home again, I had to stop because of a large herd of animals…
