Data Retention Directive in Europe, Email and Webmail

I am a member of an informal working group hosted by the European Commission that talk about implementation of the Data Retention Directive. Today in Brussels I will present my paper that have been discussed in the group regarding email and webmail. You can find the paper and the presentation here. Note that these are working documents, and what they will be used for in reality is not yet clear.

What I think of the proposed implementation of the directive in Sweden is pretty clear. Not very good.
