Lumière

Yesterday we went to Lumière in Vancouver, Canada. Had the large menue, and sure, it was good. Very good. But at the same time one can of course find things that could be better. I think for example too many of the dished has a puré between the dish and the plate. Same, or at least very similar, puré on every dish. A simple way to get the (small) dishes to stay put when carrying the plate to the table, and in some cases of course the puré added things, but, in the long run it was too much. Wine that was paired with the dishes was good. Some white surprised me (which is a positive thing) although the wine was young. Very young. Could have been older.
