Stories about the Philadelphia Experiment

As I wrote earlier we had an experiment in Philadelphia. Slashdot wrote The Night the IETF Shut Off IPv4 which was interpreted in a funny way. Some people actually thought the IETF did shut off IPv4, for the whole Internet, forever.

The IETF is not that influential. But what we did see due to incidents during this event is that influential individuals participate at the IETF. Many vendors, providers of services, etc did really get their act together to make things work.
