IETF is an interesting SDO

I like IETF, when conversations like this happens:

Chair: I must cut the microphone line now Person 1: We can write a best current practice document instead of changing the standard Chair: I must cut the microphone line now Person 2: It will not be read Chair: I must cut the microphone line now Person 1: Why will this be read then?
