First session passed at IGF
Good things: People said “what was expected” and also better things that I expected. Vint Cerf talked a lot about internationalized domain names, and how a bad solution might break the Internet.
The surprising statement was from Director General of ITU that put a stake in the ground saying Internet needs to be controlled, and not at all in the way it is controlled now. Implicitly of course that “ITU is here to help”. The reaction in the corridor is though “surprise” together with “scary”.
