IPv6 - now for real
I did some years ago have IPv6 access by using GRE tunnels. That sort of works, but as any tunnel mechanism it is sort of fragile. It relies on the stability of the end points of the tunnels, and of course connectivity to them. Effectiveness is not so good either, so tunnels are really not a long term solution.
So I decided to turn that project off and simply wait until I could get native IPv6 from my ISP. Something that is possible since a week back or so. Of course in the middle of the busy period so I have not had time to really set things up, but now during the IETF in San Francisco, there should be time to really do something serious with IPv6.
